President Obama to award the National Humanities Medal to 10 authors, scholars and historians

Novelists Jhumpa Lahiri and Larry McMurtry and food activist and writer Alice Waters are among the 10 authors, historians and scholars to receive the 2014 National Humanities Medal from President Barack Obama on Sept. 10.
